Beauty Preserved in Glass
Herbarium is a tribute to nature. A special glassmaking technique enabled to imprint any flower in glass and conserve the image of nature as we know it. Designer wanted to get a piece of the landscape into our clients’ living rooms around the world and to let everyone preserve their very own family tree in fine glass
 
Design Story
“What we wanted to do in Herbarium was to capture the wilderness, so anyone can take home a piece of the Bohemian meadow frozen in glass,” says designer
 
Manufacturing
The magic happens when the molten glass is poured over dried flowers, herbs or small tree branches. That´s when the greenery turns into ashes but leave their distinct traces in the glass surface

Color Variations
The installations are made of clear glass components, but there are also several components with the golden-painted flower imprint in each preset shape
