FLOCK OF CRYSTAL BIRDS

The flock of birds in the center was inspired by bird flight, their fluid movement in the air. The whole sculpture creates a sense of distance and an impression of the birds flying through the entire cupola
 
Each bird as well as the cupola itself is made from a sheet composed of thousands of full-lead crystal beads woven into a fabric-like texture. Each bead is hand-cut and polished for added luster and high refraction of light
