AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

As It Is In Heaven is an opal-esque treasure light. Inspired by the world’s largest and most valuable opal gem ‘Olympic Australis’, found in the outback town of Coober Pedy, South Australia, this artistic installation features a collection of strands suspended from a ceiling plate. Each strand includes a cluster of radiant acrylic discs in varied sizes and is finished with a faceted glass bead at the bottom. Illuminated by LED downlights, the result is a design which captures, diffracts and throws a kaleidoscope of light - just like an Australian opal sparkling up from the red dirt.
